The final phase of a preliminary investigation is the presentation of a report to management.List the other four stages of the preliminary investigation.
One mark should be awarded for each of the following:
•Clarify and understand the system request.
•Define the scope and constraints.
•Assess the costs and benefits.
•Examine the technical and operational feasibility.

Describe six sections which you would expect to find in a preliminary investigation report.
One mark should be awarded for each of the following: •Introduction:a brief description of the system,the people involved in the investigation,and the people who initiated the request. •Systems request summary:a description of the basis of the system request.
•Findings:results of the preliminary investigation which includes the scope of the proposed project and the main conclusions. •Recommendations:recommendations for further action.
•Time and cost estimate:to make management aware of the costs involved.
•Expected benefits:management must be informed of benefits which might occur as a result of investment in the system.
